The Rumble

This event will last from April 1st, 2025 to May 5th, 2025 at 11:59 UTC.

After a series of natural disasters plaguing Stellagos, several members of The Constellation sent out researchers and scientists to figure out the cause. Garmus Silverson was sent to the ruins of Ashenhollow to investigate a heightened chance of eruption from Mount Onyx from a distance, when the world shook once more, and he came across a long forgotten gate, now broken. He descended to investigate, but was not heard from for a month. The Constellation sent out a call for adventurers to search for the lost scientist, and your descent into the unknown led you to an underground continent full of life. It was here that you found Garmus recently unbound from shackles, in an argument with the creatures of the underground.

Garmus Headshot “I have nothing to do with the recent havoc that has been affecting Stellagos, but your land as well.” The Artificial Astrali insists, anger edging his voice as he attempts to stay calm. He avoids their gaze to look at a small item in his palm, no bigger than a Star Token, that illuminates with a glitchy screen as he taps it. “I was merely investigating the health of Mount Onyx from the ruins of Ashenhollow to see if these quakes and storms were affecting its viability. I am not some mastermind or threat that you are so keen on finding me as, simply a technician looking for a solution to a problem with the tools I have.”

As the rescue group approaches, the world seems to shake again, causing everyone to cover their heads from the stones falling from the ceiling.

“Surely you must have someone down here looking into the cause. Perhaps you have some researchers or technology that have begun to investigate, and maybe down here, you have had a better time finding the origin—”

“You say you bring no harm, yet you bring an army with you to disrupt the peace?” The female interrupts, her blue eyes a blazing fit of pain and fury as she scans over the crowd. “Yes, maybe we do know the true reason. It is Edall warning us that you are here again to kill us for good!” Batea and Theodosis Bust The male standing beside her quickly intervenes, wrapping an arm around her back to rub her side. Instead of anger, concern and understanding lines his face, his attention flickering between the crowd and her.

“My love, we both know in our cores that they had nothing to do with the tragedy of Ashenhollow. I'm still here—”

“Yet she is not!” Her voice broke, tears threatening to fall from the corners of her eyes. “You did not make it out unscathed either.” She adds as the first tear falls down her cheek, shaking her head as she turns toward Garmus once more, her canines seeming to flip out of her mouth as she bares her teeth. “They were greedy and jealous of the world we built without the use of harmful weapons, because they did not understand and respect our Vadi. They took and took until Edall could not handle it any longer, and it was only right that Photia and Eire screamed their anger as well! They must be doing it again to cause them such anger, or the Edall would not shake! They cast us aside just like their abandoning sky gods.”

The orange Stellaborn sighs as he looks toward the crowd, stepping away from his beloved to address them all with a wave of his arm, his three-fingered hand extended in their direction. “Batea, my Photia, it is thanks to the Vadi and the one who has no name that I am still here. Yes, Edall was hurt and angry all those years ago. Yes, they did damage without caring for the repercussions of the Gods they did not understand. Yet,” His attention turns back to her, “It has been 300 years since the Tartyn retreated to the comforts of Tynogeum. During that time, we knew they still existed above, yet they forgot about us thanks to the concoction and promise you made The Constellation make. There is no way they have gone through that much time without more expansion, and yet it is now that the Vadi rage. Tell me, Artificial, do your cities still stand despite the weather?”

Garmus shuts down the glitchy screen in his palm, shaking his head. “We've had minor damage, but nothing has been destroyed. We are worried that it may escalate if we do not find the origin, however.”

Theodosis…”

“Perhaps Edall shakes because he is angry with us for shutting ourselves off for so long. If he had believed we should have been lost forever, do you think he would have destroyed our gates, allowing him, or any of the rest of them, in?” As she shakes her head in denial, he offers her a small smile as he wipes a tear from her cheek, “You do not have to forgive them, my Queen, but at least give them a chance to understand the origin of the planet they know nothing about. Allow them the opportunity to learn, and maybe, just maybe, the dream that the one with no name had can come true once more. Ashenhollow may be lost, but the future is vast and unknown. We may build once more.”

A few moments pass before a large sigh falls from her lips, her head resting in his hand for a moment longer before she speaks. “The Rumble happens when our Deities, the Vadi, are upset. While your sky gods might have made you Stellaborn, it was them who shaped the land and seas you live on, the air you breathe, and the fire you use. It was them who found our casted stones left behind by your sky gods and brought us to life when they forgot us.” Queen Batea takes a deep breath, holding her head high. “Learn from them and show us that you can understand and respect their work as the Tartyn do with every Proving Trial we complete. If you can do that, Tynogeum will leave its gates open once more, and we will allow peace. Yet do not mistake that peace as forgiveness.”

As she walks away, Theodosis turns back to the crowd, a comforting smile on his face. “My name is [General Theodosis|Theodosis Galanis]], and that was my wife, the Tartyn Queen of Tynogeum, Batea Vasiliou. I'll show you to each of the Vadi's place of power so you may pay your respects.”

“After over 300 years, welcome back to Tynogeum, Stellaborn.”
