Suntide
As a small farming town just outside of Claycoast, the community of Suntide is one that is rarely seen during the day. Those who visit the sprawling fields of seemingly dead crops during the time of the sun are often welcomed with silence and the occasional bellow of livestock behind clay buildings and farmhouses.
However those that stay up late enough to visit the town during the night see a town filled with life. The “dead crops” seen during the day are now blossoming and bright under the moon's glow, and the denizens of Suntide are walking around taking care of their chores and waving to visitors with a bright smile on their face.
Early Years
Despite having another town so close, several Astrali did not like the hustle and bustle of Claycoast but preferred the life beside the bay. A group of Astrali that had not yet found their place and comfort in the prairie continued a long stretching exploration of the land until they embarked on a night excursion to avoid the height of the summer's heat.
As they wandered from their stay at Claycoast, they began to notice glowing blooms of red and yellow flowers that they had never seen during the day as they made their way farther off of the beaten path and as the sun retreated farther beneath the horizon. It was during the height of the moon that they found a refreshing plot of land that was surrounded by these night blooms, and it finally found like they had found a place to stay.
Though the new town took several months to garner enough interest, Suntide officially became recognized in 35 AL.
