Starfest 325: Humani-Vi
Starfest 325 will last from July 1st to August 11th, 2025 at 11:59 PM UTC.
Every year on the anniversary date of the fall of The First is the celebration of Starfest, held to commemorate another year of success and prosperity for the Astrali and all of Kunvadis. It is considered the turnover of the new year for Kunvadis, and this year celebrates the switch to the year 325. Although the official anniversary date is the 14th of July, it is celebrated throughout the entire month.
This year's Starfest started as any of the past celebrations, with thousands of Stellaborn converging on Starhaven to sell their wares, celebrate, and enjoy time together. Stands of goods lined the streets past the Starlight Market, and the Magosoul's wandered and feasted on the excitement of the festivities.
That was, until a large goopy mass of black and green appeared in the center of the festival, draining the color from the area around it.
“Prepare yourselves!” The familiar voice of Zissel Feralstride yelled out through the crowd, running towards the swirling mass of grim, distaste and anger lining her face. “Either show yourself or leave, monster! You are not wanted here.”
As if her voice activated the magic in the mysterious object, the crowd quickly ducked as pieces of the mass separated into free bubbles that began to fill any of the empty spaces around them. Some quick thinkers did away with the sudden seperation with magic, before the ground began to shake and the grim void began to tremble. A silky, almost serpent-like voice responded in a pout, “Is that really how you welcome the return of your sister? But I brought gifts!”
A black and green Beastion emerged from the void, her hand raising to her lips to blow a loud, and almost ear-splitting whistle. As she stepped through and adjusted to the solidness of the ground below her, hundreds of tall, hulking creatures followed after her, thundering into Stellagos like a stampede. Most stuck to the ground, but several took off with large wings into the air with whinnying cries of triumph.
“Aren't they beautiful?” The mysterious Astrali purred, her attention solely focused on Zissel. “I would think you'd be much happier about such lovely creatures, Zi. Let alone the stories and knowledge I can share!”
“You destroyed and sucked the magic out of our entire family estate last I saw you, Vioness! Why would I have any joy seeing you return, let alone when there are thousands to potentially be destroyed by your magic? Your grim necromancy has done enough, yet you bring more devastation. How will these creatures destroy us now?”
“These creatures are not of the grim, my dear, yet unintelligent, sister. This portal is, as I have been able to visit worlds and universes far beyond our own! I have found a place called 'Earth' with these weird beings called 'Humans', thousands of light years away from us. A planet in which only these creatures, the Spartian, run free with their hierarchy and bright intellect! I have so much to share, and goddesses forbid, I wanted to share them with my own.”
As the sisters argued, members of The Constellation quickly approached, with Hypselle Aster diverting from the group as Queen Batea rushed to destroy several bubbles with her flames. “Vioness, it is surprising to see you return. After your…exit at The Marr of Vioness, we thought you had left for good.”
The dark Beastion smiled a sinister, winning smile, “You named it after me? I'm flattered, Hypselle.”
“Your portal here pulls from the very planet that you call home, yet you made it anyway. Your grim only thrives off the pain of the life around it, and it cannot continue to grow.” The old Astrali snorted, yet her anger wavered reluctantly as she sighed. “Yet, The Constellation does not know your knowledge nor your ability, and would wish to learn how to recreate it without the hit to Kunvadis. You shall be taken into custody, yet we will not pull you from the festivities so that you and everyone else here may still celebrate Starfest. You will tell us your stories of these Spartians and these 'Humans' for not only research purposes, but to ensure that Starfest is a success.”
Vioness turns her attention to Zissel once more, her glowing green eyes swirling with pride and victory. “Enjoy Starfest, my beloved sister. I'm sure we will see each other soon.”

Navigating the magical bubbles and orbs of wandering portal pieces as Mytirs attempt to chase them down leads you to the edge of the Starfestivities, where there are several Stellaborn cheering around a relatively large track. Their joyful cheers are loud despite the chaos that Vioness has brought with her, and several seem to be bringing forward new Spartians to the track. Over the sound of their cheers is the warm voice of an Astrali standing beside Locket on a Heart, interpreting the small Beastion's signs.
“It's so exciting to see so many fresh bonds today joining in the rally, welcome in everyone! Get your treats ready, for the rally is going to start soon!”
As you approach the commotion, Locket spots you, waving you over with excited enthusiasm. Her companion quickly relays her rapid, yet messy, signing, which seems to be muddied by the large Kriglet she is attempting to hold in her arms. “Welcome, welcome! If you are planning to enter the rally, you and your bonded Roamkin can go over to the track. However, if you don't have anyone to join with, that's ok, I need some help running this thing! There's Roamkin to clean, train, and a track to keep ready for the racers! Anything helps!”

ROAMKIN RALLY TURN-IN
Wandering through the stalls of Starhaven's market district surrounds you with the excited chatter and laughter of sellers and buyers alike, before the flash of a bright green light draws your attention from the festivities. Few seem surprised by the sudden brightness, but your curiosity draws you towards its origin.
“You all are so furious by the absolute genius that Vioness has brought us, yet none of you understand the marvel, the beauty, the fashion that this has brought us!”
Cerrik Dotirum is standing in the middle of a plaza, in a form you have never seen before, but you recall Vioness mentioning the strange creatures known as Humans, and you assume that this might be what one might look like. Cerrik smiles as you approach, his features foreign yet familiar. “Are you not impressed by the pure beauty of this form? This discovery leads to much potential for the unique diversity of Stellagos! You see, I can choose to look entirely like those 'humans' Vioness showed us, or I can add flair: not quite human, yet humanoid.” As he flicks his hair over his shoulder, his keen and judging gaze runs over you.
“Have you not tested a Weaveshift? You may try a piece of mine for a temporary look to test it out, if you so wish.”
☆ Event Task: Draw or write your Stellaborn testing out a new form.

Towards the center of the festivities is where there are several Constellation members purifying portal bubbles that are seeking unhealthy power sources. Off to the side is Hypselle Aster, ensuring worried partygoers that the portals will be properly taken care of, and their power sources redirected into something that will ensure that Stellagos continues to thrive.
Before you can approach her, Queen Batea of the Tartyn approaches you, a small flicker of flame swirling around her palm. “Aster has it handled over there, yet we need to ensure that these festivities do not falter and these necromantic bubbles do not latch to more of healthy Edall. I assume you know at least the very basics of Magic, so you should be able to assist. Follow.” She leads you toward a relatively large bubble patch of micro portals, the flame surrounding her arm extending to several sections of the grim. They burn away the magic as if it were never there.
“If you have the prowess, destroy the bubbles with your magic, as that will help lessen the spread of the sick. However, if you know only a little, create little sparks and fireworks that could battle the stars with their brightness. Spread awe and joy to ensure that the party continues, and that the Magosoul does not leave. They are imperative to keeping these portals from clumping together to something even more dangerous.”
☆ Event Task: Draw or write your Stellaborn either destroying the grim bubbles with magic, or performing magical party tricks.
(Entry Ideas: Draw a Weaveshifted Form of your Stellaborn. The Form does not need to be unlocked to be approved.)
