Starlight Commons

Before the founding of Starhaven, the capital of Stellagos was called First Landing. It was located on the border between The Burnt Prairie and The Mineral Expanse on the south western side of the continent, and surrounded the point where all of the natural Astrali first landed after falling from the Goddesses guiding hands. As time went on and more Astrali began to fall to join their First brethren, the small town grew into a bustling central hub for all of the Astrali to visit.

However, First Landing was not destined to be the permanent home of the Stellagan capital. The events of Odum's Hunt ended with the complete destruction of First Landing and the blazing flames that gave The Burnt Prairie its name, forcing the Astrali to rebuild elsewhere.

The First remnant Hypselle Aster led what refugees followed her to the Fergan Steppe, where they came across a healthy and flourishing piece of land. As they settled their camp for the night to attempt to start anew, it is rumored that the goddess Iphion herself sent a shower of stars sailing through the sky to approve of the location they had found to become the new center of Stellagos.

As farmers cultivated the land and builders began their work on the stone walls that would surround Starhaven and the homes that had started to form, the center became a bustling market that came to be known as Starlight Commons.

When the final brick was laid in the castle-like building that would now be home to the Quasar Academy and the Meeting Chambers, Starhaven was finished nearly ten years after Odum's Hunt in the year 14 AL (After Landing).

Located in the center of Starhaven is the bustling marketplace of Starlight Commons that is always lit up with bright conversation, haggling, and dotted with both permanent and temporary stalls that sell just about anything anyone would need. The streets are always lit with different colored lights to help brighten both the area and spirits that enter.

The commerce in Starlight Commons is majorly done with Star Tokens, though there are some stands that engage in the trading of goods to achieve the same goal. All sorts of helpful things can be found in the Commons, from information packets to rare items that are used to craft important things.

Noted as the figurehead of Starhaven with its large castle-like structure and sky-reaching towers that look to the stars, the Quasar Academy holds the most esteemed researchers and expansive library that holds all of Stellagan history for anyone to study. With several halls and classrooms dedicated to different expansive subjects that range from theology to geology and so much more, there is a place for every budding researcher that wishes to find their place in the academy.
