Though it is rarely traveled to or researched, those who have visited Spirit's Veil have noted that its origin point seems to be the snowed and iced over ruins of what seems to be a long abandoned town from before the landing of the Astrali. Those who have stayed overnight in the subfreezing temperatures have spread the rumors of the sighting of unfamiliar ghosts both in recognition and physical form.

Though accounts differ, some mention that they seem to still be organizing the town as if it was functioning, while others call the spirits lost as they tried to find their way around the ruins.
