Dustgrave
As a city born from tragedy and necessity, Dustgrave often has little visitors due to its distance from the other cities and towns that make up the continent. Though, most often attribute their lack of visitation not to the distance, but due to the hallowed and, what some believe, haunted, the streets of Dustgrave are.
Those who live in Dustgrave are few and far between, but it is not an entirely empty town. Several small clay houses surround the town's center: a large graveyard of Pulsarian Blooms, where the memories of lost Astrali still linger long past their host's death.
Early Years
Those who joined Hypselle Aster and Brutus Odumborn on the pilgrimage of respects to those lost in the tragedy that was Odum's Hunt often believed that there should be a place where all of the lost could be respected and visited instead of having to note and protect where each of their Pulsarian Blooms were. With the blessing of Hypselle and The Goddessess, a small group of several Astrali set out on a tiring and meticulous journey to carry and care for the losses many refused to face.
Though it took nearly twelve years, all of the Pulsarian Blooms that had blossomed from Odum's Hunt (excluding Wiley Marius) were moved to a magically maintained patch of green fields on the southern side of the continent. Most of the Astrali who had spent the time preparing and caring for the blooms stayed, marking the town as one of importance to the continent and being recognized officially as such in the year 18 AL.
