Hey there, Stellians!

Happy New Year; we’ve made it to 2026. 2025 was a rollercoaster of a year, and I am proud of the work and love that was put into Starlight Commons from all of you who have participated and/or lurked in curiosity. After a much needed break with some time to look back and reflect on the year, the exciting horizon awaits!

This announcement will be covering a slew of new updates to the Wiki as well as a glance forward into what I will be working on for 2026.

Over the last few years I have learned a lot about running a species information hub and how it should be best approached. From navigating how it would best be interpreted to ensuring I have the relevant links for everything the world could ever need while working with the limited tools my wiki has. It has taken a lot of time and work, however, I believe I have worked together a new system with images that help point players in the right direction of where things can be found.

While I can’t edit the sidebar itself with images, I was able to add a Sidebar Navigation Hub on the Home Page that should be clearer in directing users where they need or want to go. This same table format is included on all of the pages available with relevant images on each to make it easily identifiable without being clumps of words.

The extent of what I can do in terms of organization on the Wiki is limited to tables, so hopefully these image and link combinations are helpful to those who have found the navigation difficult in the past.

In 2025 the Bounty Board was introduced to include new, fun prompts while also rewarding more Star Tokens to those who entered. There were plenty of fun entries, but most prompts went unused.

Trying to think of a new, creative prompt every refresh when entries are minimal is difficult to keep the energy up for, as I imagine it to be difficult to want to participate in every new prompt. To account for this, I have decided to set the Bounty Board to only include Expeditions until further notice. Every bi-weekly refresh will switch to another Expedition, in the order listed on the Expeditions page.

This change will allow my time and creative energy to be spent elsewhere, while also giving extra Star Token bonuses to those completing their Expeditions during their timeframes.

After spending some time working on my personal Stellaborn and talking with several people, I noticed some opportunities in which an Astral Core could be further customized without diminishing the core itself. This resulted in two new Anomalies:

← Astral Bodies | Electrical Anomaly
The allowance of Astral Bodies to be present in an Astral Core. Any Astral Body (Meteors, Stars, Planets, etc) can be included in an Astral Core with this anomaly. (This anomaly does NOT allow items to be in the core.)

Star Burns → | Soma Anomaly
The allowance of designs to be ‘burnt’ into the outer glass layer of the Astral Core. These designs can be any sheen or texture, but cannot cover the entirety of the core.

Instead of occurring quarterly for two weeks, the Clusterfall Event will now occur twice a year and last an entire month. This event will always take place during the months of April and August.

Much as stated in the Bounty Board update section of this announcement, the Clusterfall Events is receiving a new, set schedule and happening less throughout the year. This change is to allow more time for entries to be completed to the full extent of the prompt to max out chances for rewards.

Although it is empty, the Florilegium page is now available to house all future flora information. This project is to be worked on alongside the Bestiary, and will receive occasional updates throughout the year and the future.

Now that I’ve gone over everything that is already live, I have plenty of exciting updates that I am looking forward to working on over the course of 2026. I can’t share the specifics as none of it is set in stone, but I can share what my goals are to complete by the end of this year.

As I always say, take every goal listed here with a grain of salt until an official announcement has been made. While I have high hopes for getting everything done, I can never 100% guarantee it until it’s live.

Regardless, 2026 is another year to put my efforts into this lovely community and world, and I’m looking forward to what it holds!
