Fishing Pond
Welcome to the local fishing pond, stocked and ready for all your aquatic gathering needs! Whether you're here to fill a fish tank or gather required ingredients for a recipe you have been eyeing, we can get you all settled.
If this is your first time here, it's great to have you and we look forward to seeing your first cast. Which, speaking of, you have completed your Fishing Expedition and received your Fishing Rod and Fishing Stamp, right? You need them to be able to take advantage of our facilities.
If you haven't yet, no worries! The Fishing Pond is always open and you are welcome to come back once you have all the gear you need.
How it Works:
The Fishing Pond is an Intelligence (INT) based gathering activity, which means that the higher your Stellaborn's INT Attribute, the better chances you have of finding rare materials.
When you submit for a gathering check, your Stellaborn's attribute(s) will be rolled against a 50-sided die. Depending on your characters attribute(s), your rolled number will be given an additional bonus according to the list on the Character Attributes page.
Below is the prize roller list of what number is necessary to roll a certain rarity of an item:
1 - 30 Common Item
31 - 44 Uncommon Item
45 - 50 Rare Item
An item's rarity is shown either on it's item information page, or by their color of border. A blue border is Common, a green border is Uncommon, and a red border is Rare.
Once the prize has been rolled for the rarity, it will be rolled again against the number of that rarity level's items that are available to find out which prize is awarded.
