 Due to being created in the lava pits of [[Tynogeum]], the Kriggy is built for exceedingly hot environments. Their skin is thick and covered in heat-insulating, hydrophobic fur, allowing any liquid to glide off them without touching the skin. Since the Kriggy loves wallowing in any lava bath they can find, this fur is necessary for keeping their super-heated core level. Their internal temperature ranges depending on the subspecies, with the Bubore normalizing around 2,000°F (1,100°C) and the Handsomer normalizing around 1,200°F (650°C).
