Another temporary worker for the mines? Hmph. Dunno if this is the most exciting place to be, but the help is appreciated. Might even throw you a few of what you helped mine up as payment if that's something you're looking for.

Hang on there, before you grab a pickaxe, I need to check your stamps so that I know you have your [[Mining Stamp]] as well as your own [[Pickaxe]]. It's a BYOP (Bring-Your-Own-Pick) business here, and the stamp is needed for safety regulations. [[Chromena]] rules apply for the monitored mines in The Mineral Expanse. 

If you don't have it, I'm afraid I'll have to turn you away for now. But all you gotta do to get Mine Certified is finish your [[Mining Expedition]] and come back here to help out and get some ore.

**How it Works:**
\\ The Obsidiheim Mines is a **[[character-attributes|Strength (STR)]]** gathering activity, which means that the higher your character's [[character-attributes|STR Attribute]], the better chances they have of finding rare materials. When you submit for a gathering check, your [[Stellaborn|Stellaborn's]] attribute(s) will be rolled against a 50-sided die. Depending on your character's [[character-attributes|attribute(s)]] on their **Masterlist**, the rolled number will be given an additional bonus according to the list on the [[Character-Attributes|Character Attributes]] page.

An item's rarity is shown either on its information page or by its border color. A **blue border** is Common, a **green border** is Uncommon, and a **red border** is Rare. Once the prize has been rolled for the rarity, it will be rolled again against the number of that rarity level's items in that activity to find out which prize is awarded.

**Participation Rules**
