======Anomalies====== //Please refer to the Table of Contents to the right for specific links to relevant sections.// Through Anomalies, creatures on Kunvadis have been able to diversify themselves with different traits and appearances beyond their original genetic blueprints. After the creation of The First, the following generations of Astrali began to form with abnormalities that differed from their predecessors. They began to call these changes anomalies, with several researchers taking notes of the changes between them. Though some of the remaining First have decided to garner some of their own anomalies through specific anomaly-generating items, some have kept their original qualities with no desire to change them. Years of research in Starhaven have led its scientists to classify anomalies into four groups: Electric Anomalies, Chemical Anomalies, Soma Anomalies, and Chromatic Anomalies. This Anomaly Guide explains how Anomalies work with Stellaborn. -------- =====What are Anomalies?===== Anomalies are Visual Modifiers that Stellaborn are either born with (Natural Anomalies) or can be unlocked using the Anomaly Items listed below. Anomaly Items grant characters with one Anomaly per item consumed. Once an Anomaly is unlocked, it can be turned on and off freely without approval at any time, and also be entirely removed from the character's design. ^ Anomaly Items ^^^^ | \\ Electrical Anomalies cause \\ charged changes to a Stellaborn. | \\ Chemical Anomalies cause \\ synthetic changes to a Stellaborn. | \\ Soma Anomalies cause \\ organic changes to a Stellaborn. | \\ Chromatic Anomalies \\ change a Stellaborn's look. | ^ Click an image to be brought to the corresponding list of Anomalies. ^^^^ -------- =====What does 'Free Color' mean?===== When 'Free Color' is shown on an Anomaly's description, it means the Anomaly allows users to change the color at any time without Design Approval. These areas are marked with different colors, depending on the Anomaly type: Electrical Anomalies -> Purple \\ Chemical Anomalies -> Green \\ Soma Anomalies -> Orange The image below depicts an example of a **Chemical Anomaly** with Free Color: | | -------- =====Electrical Anomalies===== **Electric Anomalies** encompass different kinds of mechanical or charged anomalies that seem to derive from the Artificial Astrali's creator, Odum. Though it has not been discovered how newly formed non-Artificial Astrali garner these anomalies, researchers and tinkerers in Chromena have developed a metallic plant called Wired Vines that grows Fuseberries. Consumption of a Fuseberry allows any creature to develop any electric anomaly they desire. Vionic was developed by a now-disappeared mystique to allow any creature who consumes the elixir to gain any chemical anomaly they desire. The creation history of Vionic has vanished alongside its creator, though her instructions for the liquid were found around the time of her disappearance, allowing salesfolk to continue to produce and sell it. These are some of the most common anomalies found on all life stages of creatures, especially the fruit that spawns soma anomalies grows all over Stellagos. Named Somapri, these apricot-looking fruit grow on trees all throughout the continent.
