=====Goodbye 2024, Hello 2025=====

With the end of 2024 rapidly approaching, it was imperative to finish some of the final things that needed to be done before the end of the year while also doing a final wrap-up before the beginning of 2025. However, first and foremost, I want to wish everyone a **Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.** 

Since Starlight Commons started just over five months ago now, I have been so grateful and overwhelmed with the love and support every one of you has given to the world. I appreciate your involvement and joy when I post a new adopt, an event, or any update that goes out. Genuinely, I do not think I will ever be able to say thank you enough to any of you but know I am so incredibly blessed to have the community I have. 

While Starlight Commons has only been around for a short time, your support and involvement have been instrumental. Your contributions are shaping the future of SLC. I have many exciting plans for the future, and I can't wait to share them with you.

Before I jump into what's in store for 2025, let's wrap up 2024. There are a few things we need to address before we can fully embrace the new year.

====Roamkin Adoptions | Live Now====

Ever since [[Roamkin]] were introduced with [[Prismhawk|Prismhawks]] back in October, it was integral that a business was created to obtain [[Roamkin]] outside of [[Events|Event]] adoptions. I am finally happy to announce that a new NPC officially opened a location for business!

[[Locket on a Heart]] has a small shop freshly opened in the bustling market district of [[Starhaven]] named [[Critter Korner]], where you can find all of your [[Roamkin]] supply needs or adopt a new friend. They are also aware that not every [[Roamkin]] is a match and may be better off finding a new home with someone else, so they also offer Surrender Services with a return compensation should you so wish.

[[Critter Korner]] is also now the only place to buy any of your [[Roamkin]] necessities, like [[Spectreat|Spectreats]]. It is also where you can now work with [[Locket on a Heart|Locket]] to bond with your [[Roamkin]] instead of Greener Pastures.

====Wiki Sidebar Changes | Live Now====

The launch of the [[Trailing Memories]] [[Events|Event]] led me into a deep dive into the creatures that are known and researched on [[Kunvadis]], which meant that the sidebar needed a bit of an overhaul to ensure that these additions would be easily organized. Although not much has changed, and it has been a few weeks since these changes officially went live, I will list what was altered and/or added below.

- Added a [[Bestiary]] category that easily links into all types of creatures and then further divulges their dietary habits. 
\\ - Updated [[Roamkin]] to follow the same format as the rest of the [[Bestiary]].
\\ - Added [[Astral Core|Astral Cores]] to the sidebar for easy navigation and information.

====Esuric Alphabet | Live Now====

With the intention of putting together images more in-line with lore, I have finally put together the [[Esuric]] alphabet alongside some smaller lore snippets of the language's origin.

Now that the wrap-up has been concluded, let's take a little glance into what 2025 may hold, shall we?

====2025 Focus====

The main thing I will be focusing on in 2025 will be continuing to build a fun community and an entrance into the world with more **Lore, Events, and Stellaborn**. This can mean a variety of things that I am unable to divulge right now fully, but it generally means...

- More Lore [[Events]], attempting at least one event every quarter near a [[Clusterfall]].
\\ - More [[History]] Books.
\\ - More [[Anomalies|Anomaly Items]] to help further customize or grow a [[Stellaborn]].
\\ - New [[Roamkin]].
\\ - A free entry point for all interested in Starlight Commons.
\\ - New [[Stellaborn]].

While I'm excited to work on these things, please take each bullet with a grain of salt until I make an official announcement about something coming out. I am //hopeful// I will be able to do all of these things, but I'm confident that, regardless, 2025 will bring many positive changes to SLC.

Though these are the goals, some things outside of it may be done if the ability is available to do so. The main thing to take away from the goals is that 2025 will only keep seeing Starlight Commons grow!
