=====ARPG Update Notes 01=====

Hey there Stellians!

With a few days off of the first month of Starlight Commons becoming available to everyone, I am so very humbled and thankful for each and every one of you that has made this venture of mine become real. From those who are looking to get their own start or those who have already bought and participated in the ARPG, and even the lurkers who are just interested in seeing this group grow, thank you.

This update today is to cover some new additions to the game as well as a couple changes.

====Astral Core Attributes | Live Now====

As we've been getting things ready for future updates, we realized that the [[Astral Core|Astral Cores]] needed a meaning in the game beyond the lore listed on their information page. We mulled over several ideas to give them before we settled on an [[character-attributes|Attributes]] boost that will be applied to each character when they unlock the core(s). This boost is large enough to help push a character forward in their [[Missions|Mission]] training, however minimal enough that it does not overpower a character in a certain category over one that does not just from the addition of a core or its base core.

The stat additions for each kind of core is listed below:
\\ **Astral Light Core** | +5 Agility (AGI) Levels
\\ **Astral Burning Core** | +5 Strength (STR) Levels
\\ **Astral Radiation Core** | +5 Defense (DEF) Levels
\\ **Astral Brilliance Core** | +5 Charisma (CHA) Levels
\\ **Astral Grim Core** | +5 Intelligence (INT) Levels

As of the posting of this update, the entire [[https://toyhou.se/StarlightCommons|Starlight Commons Masterlist]] has been updated to reflect these [[character-attributes|Attribute]] changes depending on the core they have.

====Coresmithing Mythic Course | Live Now====

As of today, [[Berhael Ingotbrand]] has returned from his recent expedition with new materials to help further his business and livelihood. Although he was not thrilled to learn he would be teaching a new course alongside his other responsibilities, Quasar Academy was able to put together the [[Coresmithing Course]] for him to teach his knowledge to other [[Stellaborn]] wishing to learn about the art of being a [[Chronovelour|Coresmith]]. Completing this course also allows [[Stellaborn]] to become [[Clusterfall]] certified, which will allow them to enter the public digsite(s) the next time one occurs.

The rumor mill is still debating on when the next public [[Clusterfall]] will be, though most believe it may be within the next two months.

====Activity Collection Limits | Enforcing 8/19/2024====

The point of the collection [[Activities]] is to give free and easy chances to collect items after the completion of prerequisites with the ability to gain more if members work more on their characters through [[Mythic Courses]] or consumable items. However, to keep the game comparable to everyone regardless of how they gain their new characters, we have decided to implement a character cap of four characters per week to collection [[Activities]].

Due to this being a larger game-affecting change, the character cap will not be enforced until 8/19/2024. 

====Chronovelour Availability | Coming Soon====

As we were putting together the changes to [[Astral Core|Astral Cores]] and prepping other updates for the future, it became apparent that [[Chronovelour]] needed to become more widely available. However due to it being a stat boosting item and us still learning our market, we decided that it would not become a constantly available item. 

With that being said, we are ready to release it on a bi-weekly schedule to be available in [[The Saddlery Shop]] thanks to the hard work of [[Berhael Ingotbrand]]. Every color of [[Chronovelour]] will be available to purchase for 200 [[Star Token|Star Tokens]] each. When they are available, the notification of the change will be sent alongside the @News ping every week in the [[https://discord.gg/MEF6PwjuJK|Starlight Commons Discord]].

[[Chronovelour]] will also be an item that can be crafted by [[Stellaborn]] that have completed the [[Coresmithing Course]], and the crafting recipe will be available when all of its pieces are completed and available for everyone. The timeframe for this will be somewhere within the next two months.
