 **Subspecies:** There are three different types of Tartyn: Lithos, Asthen, and Nucleus. From research of the 'hatching' cycle that the [[Deities|Vadi]] complete, the differentiation of the subspecies depends on where they were pulled from the Earth by [[Edall]]. Lithos are pulled from the top layers, Asthen from the middle layers, and Nucleus from the innermost layers of the earth.
